Kate Cheer Coaching is inspired by my own personal journey to wellness.
After 15 years juggling a demanding career and hectic family life I was left exhausted. I felt guilty for taking time for myself, frustrated that my body felt older than it was and totally overwhelmed as my mind struggled to perform as it had in my 20's.
I started my wellness journey through fitness and soon became hooked on the feel good workouts. However, this soon spiralled into extreme fitness as I entered the world of Bikini Fitness Competitions. Two years later, the trophies I'd won did nothing to improve my relationship with my body, as I realised I'd created an obsession with food after years of strict dieting, and was living in a world of constant physical comparison to others that fuelled a self-critical mindset that had gone way beyond healthy.
5 years ago I set out on a journey to discover the true path to wellness, and creating a balanced body & mind, without the struggle. Little did I know at the time the impact this journey would have not only on my wellness, but on my entire life.
Step by step I pieced together the knowledge and principles that I personally use daily to keep my body & mind balanced, and also use in my online coaching. I'm passionate about coaching other busy professional women so they too can learn the essential 12 steps to creating balance in their life, body and mind so they can improve their energy to perform at their best, build resilience to stress, increase self-confidence to enjoy life to the full, AND feel supported and guided every step of the way.
